Fenway was born in Brandon, Mississippi in 2007. After a short and successful career in the AKC show ring, she became a member of our family in October 2009 and lived the rest of her life in Somerville, Tennessee. The minute she was in our arms we knew that we all belonged together.
Fenway was a sweet, happy little girl who loved being around people. She never met a stranger. Old folks, little kids…everyone…was seduced by her charms, and she instantly brought a smile to everyone’s face. She loved to sit up in her stroller or in a shopping cart, ride up and down the aisles of any big-box store, and let folks admire her beauty and stroke her cottony coat.
At home, Fenway became stressed when we weren’t all together. She just had to know where “her people” were at all times. When anyone left the house, she would lay in the hallway (sometimes for hours) staring at the front door until it opened and we were all together again.
For thirteen years Fenway was our child. We were “her people” and she was our shadow. She was a gentle, happy little girl who just wanted to please us. She is missed beyond words. Her paw prints are forever on our hearts.
