Daisy was 13 years old and was a joy in my life; When she was younger, her Daddy used to shoot blackbirds from the bird feeders so all of the good birds could eat. She went to the window with him and waited until he shot the pellet gun. If one was trying to get away. she would chase it down and bring it back. We live in the country and have a 3-acre front yard. She would fly around playing until she wore herself out. It was the hardest decision I had to make as she grew older. She became blind and deaf, her legs hurt, and we had problems in the house. I picked her up today from Peebles Pet Services were awesome. They helped me with everything and when I picked her up today, they put a picture in the urn for me. My grief will eventually go away because I know she lives in my heart and is watching over me.
