Queenie Belle Graham
July 21, 2003 – May 27, 2025
I was just a tiny kitten, barely three months old, when I found myself in quite a predicament.
Stranded out on a tree limb, I cried as loud as my little voice could manage (and being part
Siamese, it was impressively loud) until a kind human strolling by heard me. She rescued me
from that precarious branch and took me home. On the walk back, she kept saying she wasn’t
sure what to do with me but would figure something out. Little did she know, I had already
decided to adopt her and her husband. That day, July 21, 2003, became unforgettable—not just
because of my rescue, but also because it was the day before Hurricane Elvis struck. While
Elvis shook Memphis, the winds of fate brought me into my new forever home.
My new skin daddy decided to name me Queenie Belle. And oh, I embraced that name
wholeheartedly! From the moment I entered their home and hearts, I ruled with majestic
authority. I kept my mom, dad, and furry siblings in line, ensuring everything ran according to my
royal decree. Mischief was my specialty, but I was loved immensely and spoiled beyond
measure.
On May 27, 2025, I passed away to join my skin daddy in heaven, who had gone just two and a
half months earlier. At 22 years old, I was once again a tiny girl, but this time it was because my
body had grown frail and tired. Saying goodbye to me was one of the hardest decisions my skin
mommy had to make, but she knew it was the right one. She said I needed to go to heaven to
make sure my skin daddy was behaving himself.
