When we met Penny for the first time she was two years old . She was a pretty cute, prissy, playful and smart little dog. Our plans were to only keep her over the weekend on a trial basis. Well, she was so lovable and obedient we decided to adopt her and she has been with us for seven years. She liked playing with her toys and playing ball with us. She had her favorite security blanket and would drag it around the house. She loved begging for her food while standing up on her hind legs, looking like a little penguin. She was so sassy with those black and white spots on her back, reminding us of a little miniature pony. She liked to sleep in our laps, under the kitchen and dining room tables and in our beds. She loved our belly rubs. She loved going outside trying to run off the animals always barking at them as if to say "this is my territory not yours, so move on!" She got so excited bouncing around and catching frogs and lizards. She loved to ride in the truck with her Papa, once jumping out of the window to chase a squirrel. She was so devoted to us and became a little protector letting us always know that someone or something was outside. She has brought so much joy and comfort to us. Rest In Peace, sweet Penny! We know you're in dog heaven. We will forever miss and love you, David, Mary and Cille
