Pax Sheppard

Pax chose me in 2006. I was going through a really bad depression. My life seemed to be out of control. I was laying on the couch one day and she slipped in the cracked door walked over and jumped up on the couch with me. She curled up and went to sleep on me. I felt such peace and love. Hence her name, Pax (latin for peace). She saved me from my depression. The vet guessed her age at that time to be 2 to 4 years old. Pax was my constant companion and diva during some of the roughest years of my life and she kept me grounded. She will forever be in my heart and I look forward to the day when we are reunited across the Rainbow Bridge.

Beau was Pax's son. He was the cuddle bug and lover. The gentle soul who always knew just what to do to cheer you up. His life was taken when a larger dog attacked him.
